February 6, 2011 at 6:55 pm
I have been SOOOOO behind in my blogging and I apologize!! Here are the pictures from the *gulp* last 4 months. I would make a resolution to update more often, but I’d probably break it too quickly
I’ll try, I promise!!!

Sleepy Snacker
October 16, 2010 at 10:49 pm
Jackson was so tired on the ride home from VT that he couldn’t even finish eating his goldfish cracker. When I took it out of his mouth, there was half a fish – haha! Oh, and did I mention that he didn’t nap for two days and that he was up all night screaming. Good times! Fortunately Grandma and Grandpa Agoes said he was still invited back for another visit … or maybe they were just being nice

The 20th Annual Pumpkin Festival in Keene, NH
October 16, 2010 at 8:05 pm
Our plans to visit family up in VT a few weeks ago were thwarted by the summer drought and a dry well, so we rescheduled for this weekend. Come to find out it was the 20th annual Pumpkin Festival in Keene, NH so we took a ride over to check it out. It was a chilly, blustery day, but we managed to keep warm enough to walk around the downtown area and see most of the pumpkins. This year the final figure was a bit shy of 23,000 pumpkins! We saw some creative pumpkins and got lots of ideas for next year.
You can click here to see all of the photos from our VT visit.

Talking with the animals in the barn, that’s what we did on the farm
October 13, 2010 at 8:22 pm
Stephanie and I decided to drive over and check out Drumlin Farm one morning with the kiddies. We spent the picture-perfect Fall morning walking around the farm visiting the animals. I have to say, this was the cleanest farm I have ever seen! Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been before.
You can see all of our pictures from the farm here.

Buh-Bye High Chair
October 8, 2010 at 8:32 pm
Mealtimes were becoming a battle of the wills when trying to get Jackson into his highchair. I decided it was time to try more of a “big boy” chair. I found this contraption called a Kaboost Chair Booster, so we ordered it and it seems to be working quite well so far. Now I wonder if they sell something to get a toddler to actually eat his dinner …

You can kaboost me to the table, but I'm still not going to eat!

Tasty Treats
September 29, 2010 at 8:27 pm
So many different cupcakes, so little time! To solve this problem, we decided to each have a cupcake party once a month to try different recipes and practice our baking. It’s a pretty delicious monthly treat

Caramel apple cupcakes = yum-o!

Charlie Brown’s Watermelon
September 27, 2010 at 7:45 pm
Grandma and Grandpa Bradley got Jackson a watermelon plant back in June. We planted it in the garden and toiled and fussed over it all summer. After months and months of anticipation our watermelon was ready to pick! It was anticlimactic really as it was quite small and not very tasty. Bummer …

Do I eat it like an apple?

Do we have to share? I don't think there's enough to go around!

Playtime at the Park
September 25, 2010 at 10:23 pm
After our visit at the Museum of Science, we walked over to our favorite park, the North Point Park, to burn off some energy before heading home for nap-time.

Checking out the Museum of Science
September 25, 2010 at 8:30 pm
Smithsonian Magazine sponsored a national “Free Museum Day”, so we took advantage of the free tickets and took Jackson to the Museum of Science for the first time. Of all the things that we saw that morning, his favorite was pressing all of the buttons on the exhibits. Go figure!

A "Duck Tour" driving by pointed out that we were (unknowingly) standing in front of a piece of the Berlin Wall
Whoa! What is that?
What happens when I click this button? And this one? And this one over here?

Saying “Good-Bye” to Summer
September 24, 2010 at 8:26 pm
The weathermen predicted an 85-degree September day, so we couldn’t resist sneaking in one more beach day. We headed to Nahant Beach for a few hours to take in the sun and surf for what was likely to be the last time of the season. It was even warm enough to splash around in the water! It was a great way to say good-bye to summer.

Nap Strike Catches Up
September 17, 2010 at 8:20 pm
Jackson was in the midst of yet another nap strike, when it finally caught up with him in the car ride on the way home from an afternoon grocery shopping trip. We had a little bit of a hard time waking him up

Honk Honk Rattle Rattle Crash Beep Beep!
September 11, 2010 at 8:22 pm
The Town of Danvers held a “Touch a Truck” Day this Saturday. There were over 50 different kinds of cars and trucks that the kids could climb in and explore. Jackson was a bit overwhelmed upon our arrival, but as long as Daddy was in the truck with him, he thought it was pretty cool.

How do you start this thing up?
Look at us way up here!
Beep ... beep ...
I don't think this is where the driver sits, Dad?
